New Jersey Fist Pumping 101
First:
Find a bar that has a great New Jersey cover band playing.
Second:
Go to that bar
Third:
Wait patiently for said band to play “Living On A Prayer”
(if you don’t know who sings that, you need to study New Jersey music history some more before you venture out to partake in this activity)
Fourth:
As song begins, grab a few friends (arms around shoulder as to form a group) & begin to dance & sing along…with feeling.
Fifth:
As the song reaches the chorus, raise your arm with clenched fist and vigorously pump fist into the air along to the beat of the song.
Sixth:
VERY IMPORTANT:
Don’t forget to continue singing loudly (screaming actually) while fist pumping.
Seventh:
While fist pumping, look around and nod your head as if in approvement to all other fist pumpers.
