New Jersey Bars & Nightclubs this weekend! Snow bitches!!!
I know, I’ve been a little lax on these posts over the past couple weeks, but I’ve been busy with my new job as an instructor at Fighter Weapons School…that’s Top Gun for you people that really aren’t as cool as you think.
Weekend’s here people and the snow is finally coming!!! Get your snowmobiles, snow shoes, sleds, reindeer, donkeys, or what ever the hell it is your gonna use to get out and celebrate tonight! Celebrate you ask? What’s to celebrate today? Well, if you’re too miserable to just feel the need to celebrate life…then get out and celebrate my awesomeness!

Dear Ladies…get your black dresses!
You know I love you and all Mom…awesome to visit you as always…but tonight, I kinda wish I was 4 hours south of your house…in Woodbridge, NJ. Yeah, I said it…for the first and may I note ONLY time in my life, I am wishing that regardless of where I am right at this particular moment, I would rather be in Woodbridge, NJ. No offense Woodbridge…but I understand if you are…I just dogged your town. Actually, I’m just really thrown off right now because me lady (no, I didn’t misspell “my”…I’m just trying to sound creepy) in the flyer below is blowing me a kiss. That’s right, she’s blowing it to me! Kinda how every stripper looks into your eyes like you’re the only guy in the room. Actually…not really sure on that one, but it’s what all my friends tell me.

Thanksgiving Eve At New Jersey Bars | Whiskey Bar, Hoboken, NJ

Thanksgiving Eve = Biggest of biggest bar nights of the year.
(so what, it’s not proper English…I invent language…remember, I’m the artist here)
Thanksgiving Eve = Biggest night of awkward conversations.
(come on…it’s a notorious night cause most people go home, go out, and run into people they have not seen for years. Even though labeled awkward, you actually, secretly, long for this night all year…why?…cause you have issuess).

New Jersey Bars Tonight | Teacher Tribute @ Jenks Nightclub, Point Pleasant, NJ
Ok, still on the teacher kick. Like our last post, this is another party in honor of our teachers! Damn, you guys are getting it good this weekend…must be nice! When’s the weekend dedicated to those who run nightlife websites and bring a vital public service to society? Just kidding, teachers deserve to get recognized more than just one weekend…they have one of the most important jobs on the planet!
So here’s your party tonight…and it’s down the shore! Tonight, Jenks Nightclub in Point Pleasant is having a huge teacher bash. From 8pm – 9pm you get a free buffet and complimentary beer and wine. To get into this, you need to print out an invitation here. The party continues after with Jet Set Zero performing live. $1 drafts all night and $2 flavored vodka drinks. Cover starts @ 10pm. Have fun and go learn something @ Jenks tonight. I’m not planning on learning anything tonight…in fact I’ll probably end the night a little dumber than when I started.

Your Guide To Surviving This Monday | Post New Jersey Halloween 2009
I know this Monday in particular is probably tough on a lot of you. I mean come on, while you were eagerly following UpAfterDusk.com’s 40 kick ass Halloween Parties @ New Jersey bars and nightclubs (I’m way too good with shameless plugs…even on Mondays), you were celebrating Halloween Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. 100 UpAfterDusk.com points for anyone who can tell me when Halloween actually was? You know, someday, I’m going to actually figure out what “UpAfterDusk.com” points can be redeemed for…probably like a really cool turtleneck with our logo on it, but I’ll work on it. Then of course we all stumbled into our favorite bars on Sunday to spend all day watching football and then the World Series.
After all that, I almost forgot the point of this post, which you can refer to the title…I’m not repeating myself. I’m going to make this super, super simple.
1.) Suck it up for the rest of the work day…how? Figure it out for yourself.
2.) 6pm – 8pm : go to your computer with your dinner and check out Michael Duprey hosting The Escapism Session. It’s on Wheres The Culture Radio…http://www.wtchouseradio.com.
3.) 8pm + : settle into your snuggie and prepare yourself for another Yankee’s championship!

New Jersey Halloween Parties 2009 | The Shannon Rose, Woodbridge, NJ
We’re in Central Jersey…Woodbridge to be exact for venue #32 of 40 as we wander aimlessly across New Jersey in search of bar and nightclub Halloween parties.
Venue #32 :
The Shannon Rose in Woodbridge, NJ is the newest nightlife addition in to that area. It’s an Irish style pub with drink specials, special events, DJs, and live music every night of the week. This place is gigantic too with multi levels. Their Halloween costume party has $500 for the best costume. The Screaming Nudes will be performing live and you can suck down as many Bud Light & Bud Light Wheats for $3 that you’d like.

New Jersey Halloween Parties 2009 | The Old Bay, New Brunswick, NJ
Lucky venu #30 of 40 happens to be in New Brunswick. Our New Jersey bar and nightclub Halloween tour is ¾ of the way there.
Venue #30 :
The Old Bay in New Brunswick, NJ…great spot. Drink specials every night of the week, DJs, and live music. It’s kinda like stepping into the French Quarter in New Orleans. Halloween here is always a trip. You’re gonna see some great costumes here, including the bartenders. I can vouge for that since I ran into a couple of them at the Halloween store today where I was trying on my tinker bell costume. Live music by WUPA, Bacardi girls will be there, and an ipod video to the first place costume!
