Thanksgiving Eve = Biggest of biggest bar nights of the year.
(so what, it’s not proper English…I invent language…remember, I’m the artist here)
Thanksgiving Eve = Biggest night of awkward conversations.
(come on…it’s a notorious night cause most people go home, go out, and run into people they have not seen for years. Even though labeled awkward, you actually, secretly, long for this night all year…why?…cause you have issuess).

You: Hey, how are you? You look great! Whatchu been up to?
Them: Doing great! Thanks. Just workin…you know. What about you? You look great too.
You: Oh, thanks. Yeah, same here. You know, workin, doin my thing.
(now pause, smile…a little…and nod your head. This will evoke them to also nod their head and then cause them to say…”cool” ….this is your sign to take control)
You (again): Alright then, well nice seeing you. We should like hook up through facebook or something…catch up sometime?
Them: Sure! Sounds great…look forward to it.
There it is…now you move on, realize you’re not going to see or talk to them at least til next Thanksgiving Eve, or longer….then start this dance all over with someone else.

Back to Hoboken bitches…#28 of 40 New Jersey Bars and Nightclubs that are hosting some scary Halloween shit…just for you.
Venue #28 :
Hey! I said Hey! …whatever it’s Friday, I’m ready to party, but still hangin there for you people, and return starting to lose my mind. So, I’ll make this quick…Texas Arizon in Hoboken, NJ. Yep, other than hosting a gigantic crowd of semi-crazy Steelers fans every football Sunday, they do a lot of other cool shit too. All kidding aside, I looooove this place. Right off the path, cheap drinks, good food, good people. That Randy guy who runs the joint is pretty cool too. Haha. Anyways, Halloween…you got a costume contest with cash & prizes…please don’t go dressed like a Steelers fan…unless you’re a girl and want to go dressed as a sexy steelers fan. Plus live music…awesome band, Moons over Pluto.

New Jersey Halloween Parties 2009 |Rogo’s Bar & Grill, Hoboken, NJ
Hoboken, Hoboken, Hoboken…yaaaaaayyyy! We’re back for venue #16 of 40 for New Jersey’s Bar and Nightclub Halloween Parties!
Venue #16 :
Rogos in Hoboken…2 bars, 2 levels, 2 atmospheres. I remember my first time……..at this bar of course. It was years and years and years ago during Hoboken St. Patty’s day. Having a car bomb @ 10am with some policeman & fireman. That bar was pretty cool back then. A couple years ago they completely renovated the place, and now it’s moved on to super cool. Halloween will be super cool too…damn my segue ways are good! Go with your costumes and their will be prizes and giveaways. Also, there’s a midnight happy hour from 12am – 1am.

Back up to Hoboken and to stop #8 on our Halloween Party tour of New Jersey…hopefully y’all find this as a good as to where the parties are at. Obviously, there are more than 40 venues to go to, but honestly, I have no patience to tell you everything…come on!
Venue #8 :
Whiskey Bar is one of the coolest bars in Hoboken to check out live music…yes LIVE MUSIC…some of you peeps forget that there are other forms of entertainment other than DJs. Both Mischief Night and Halloween night, there are costume contests going on. Friday night, the band is No Standards…Saturday night the band is Jet Set Zero.

Here comes venue #6 of 40 as we continue to cruise around Hoboken finding New Jersey bars & nightclubs best Halloween parties.
Venue #6 :
The Shannon is the oldest family owned joint in Hoboken. This place is happening 7 nights a week. I’m gonna make this pretty easy for you. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday are all Halloween costume nights. You can win some really cool shit, including cash, each night. Thursday though, is probably what you want to wear your slickest costume to though…why??? Look at the damn picture below! You can win a trip for two to the Bahamas!

New Jersey Halloween Parties 2009 | Liberty Bar and Grill, Hoboken, NJ
40 New Jersey Venues for Halloween parties. We’re talking about New Jersey bars and New Jersey Nightclubs people. We are staying in Hoboken for #5.
Venue #5 :
Liberty Bar and Grill in Hoboken is a super chill neighborhood sports bar. They have drink specials every night, DJs on the weekends, and all your sports fixes. This Halloween they are celebrating 2 nights…2 costume contests. DJs and dancing both nights & $250 to the first place winner. Halloween night is sponsored by Brinley Gold Rum.
But, what I really wanna talk about is Liberty Bar and Grill’s Friday night party. Why??? Because it is the best kind of costume party…a charitable costume party. This event will support The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County. Donations will be accepted at this event. Get out and and give!

New Jersey Halloween Parties 2009 | Lana Lounge, Hoboken, NJ
We’re up to #4 on this ghoulish (you like? …yeah you do) list of 40 New Jersey venues that are just kicking the shit out of Halloween this year!
Venue #4 :
We’ve made our way up to Lana Lounge in Hoboken. To put it simply, Lana is a massive New Jersey nightclub with 3 awesome levels. Let’s talk about Halloween…Lana is having parties both Friday and Saturday. Here’s the sick part, both nights, Lana is giving away $5,000 to the best costume of the night! 5g’s! DJ Lugghead is on the main floor and DJ Arenz is in the Riverside Lounge. Hope you dig Coors Light…cause they’re having specials all night long!
