So…this just in…HERE’S YOUR WEATHER FORECAST FOR TONIGHT IN ATLANTIC CITY…
The Weather Channel (one of my favorite stations, because I’m a giant dork…yeah, you know what I mean by giant baby…alright, sorry for that, but I get in really wacky moods before really good storms…but you know what I mean baby, right?…wink, wink…ha) is calling this monster moving up the coast a “Historic Storm”. We’re talking to the proportions of the big nor’easters in January and February of 1998 and Isabel in 2003. Now we all remember that shit, right (insert sarcasm)? Get ready for a pounding over the next couple days. Go by some bread and eggs now!!!
Ok, so after all that, get your ass out tonight and celebrate the perfect storm. And there’s no event more ironically perfect than “Godspeed”, tonight @ the House of Blues Foundation Room. Not only can you dance, drink, and pray the night away…but, the room overlooks all the massive destruction that will be taking place out in the Atlantic. Godspeed young ones.

The Shore! The Shore! Go to Belmar for #25 on our New Jersey Bar Halloween tour.

Bar A in Belmar, NJ is always one of the coolest bars to hang during the summer. It’s huge and there’s just tons of fun shit to do every day and every night. Their annual Halloween Bash and costume contest is definitely cray. Come party with the band Life Speed…great jersey cover band…there will be lots of fist pumping, so be prepared. Also, $500 to the best costume.

New Jersey Halloween Parties 2009 | The Saint, Asbury Park, NJ
One of the best live music venues in New Jersey is #13 of 40 for New Jersey Halloween Party Bars and Nightclubs.

The Saint in Asbury Park is a staple in New Jersey music scene. There mission is to present and preserve live original music at the Jersey Shore. Check out what they have going on for Halloween…Bacardi Rum Halloween Jam & Costume Party. The bands that are featured are The Juggling Suns, Amber Blues, and Captain James & The Pain. Halloween Parties | New Jersey Bars | New Jersey Nightclubs | 40 Venues
So, I guess it’s appropriate I write this while I’m sitting here watching, It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. Came across it by accident, but it’s no doubt fate. Being that I’ll never grow past the age of 8 or 9, Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas are never officially in season until I watch the corresponding Charlie Brown special.
Whatever, call me what you want, but I accept that I am a big kid who loves this time of year, but can now also enjoy some booze & write about nightlife & entertainment in New Jersey. Wow! …I need a second…is anyone in awe of me as much as I am right now for how graceful and clever that segue way was???
Alright, starting tomorrow, and over the next couple days, I’m going to bring you 40 New Jersey bars and nightclubs that are having great Halloween parties. Whatever info I have on the parties (djs, live music, drink specials, prizes), I will bring to you! …don’t you feel special? Well you should!

The B Street Band // New Jersey Bars Tonight // The Deck @ Trump Marina
Alright, we all know Bruce Springsteen is from New Jersey…so, it would only make sense that the world’s longest running tribute band…AND THE original Springsteen Tribute Band is from New Jersey too. Damn we’re a great state, aren’t we!
If you haven’t check out The B Street Band before, you really have to…honest. I wouldn’t steer you in the wrong direction. I genuinely care for you…I do 
So, tonight is as good a time as any at one of my favorite outdoor patios in the land. The Deck @ Trump Marina. If you’ve never been there before, getting there is self explanatory. Find the deck @ the marina…2 huge bars, 1 huge bandstand, a night full of dancing. Did I mention you’re right on the marina…water, boats, sure, the usual for a marina. But not the usual scenery or atmosphere. This place is really one of Atlantic City’s great outdoor bars.

Regardless of rain or sun…there’s a ton of things to do up and down the jersey shore this weekend. The Surf Club in Ortley Beach is partying straight thru the weekend.
